DIAMOND DREAMER adds an extra guitarist/keyboardplayer to their line-up
Keyboardplayer/guitarist Ferdinand 'Furdy' van Meurs has been added to the line-up of DIAMOND DREAMER recently. Furdy and singer Martin have been playing together for over ten years. Their collaboration started in the Bolland&Bolland outfit Hard Blauw and continued with bands such as Sixx, Scotch&Soda, Jukebox XL and now in DIAMOND DREAMER. Unfortunately, Furdy won't be playing at their show in de Peppel in Zeist on February 4th.

VALKYRIE releases CD in 2012!!
Dutch 80s heavy metal band VALKYRIE releases "Deeds Of Prowess" in January on Nuclear Blast. The CD features their demo and many bonus tracks. The bands have never played any live shows nor did they ever release anything on vinyl or CD before, so grab this one time opportunity!!

MARTYR busy recording new album
MARTYR are in the middle of recording their new as-yet-untitled album, to be released around May 2011. Currently, five songs have been recorded at Jack's Pace Studio, Belgium with producer Jack Nobelen (HORIZON, SAVAGE, STILLETTO). Five more songs are to be recorded in the first two months of next year, and will be far more heavy and up tempo compared to the earlier 2CD release "Fear The Universe" (released in 2009 through Rusty Cage Records).
In related news, the band is also switching to another record company in between, before they will hit the stage in Europe in March again (including an appearance at Up The Hammers Fest VI in Greece). Because MARTYR does not want to have their fans waiting too long before any new material will see the light of day, they have pre-released a brand new track, called "Circle Of 8", which you can view on You Tube.
